Likeness & Content Release

Not legal advice — a working agreement, not a finished contract. Version v1.

1. When this applies

This agreement is separate from — and in addition to — the creator agreement, which covers how you get paid. This one only applies when palflip itself owns and operates the social media account your content is posted through, for submission to a third-party content-rewards campaign under palflip's own account on that platform. If you submit clips under your own accounts and your own social accounts instead, this agreement does not apply to you.

2. What you're granting

You grant palflip a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, irrevocable, perpetual right and license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and edit your name, image, likeness, voice, performance, and any content you create or appear in under this arrangement — including the right for palflip to pass these same rights on to the hosting platform and to the brand running a given campaign. This is broad and long-lasting on purpose: such platforms' terms require whoever submits a clip to already hold and be able to grant these exact rights before palflip can legally submit your content under palflip's account. Read that carefully before signing — this is not a casual or easily-reversible grant.

3. What you don't give up

This agreement is only about the rights described in Section 2. It does not make you an employee of palflip, and it does not change how or how much you're paid — that is entirely governed by the creator agreement and the Payments & Fees Policy, based on independently tracked views.

4. Content requirements and disclosure

You agree to create content that meets the requirements palflip shows you for a given opportunity, and to cooperate with any required sponsorship disclosure on that content (e.g. #ad or #sponsored), even though the posting account may be operated by palflip rather than by you personally.

5. Removal

Palflip will stop posting new content under this arrangement at your request. Content already submitted to a live third-party campaign may not be fully removable — such platforms' terms grant the platform and the brand certain irrevocable rights once a deliverable is submitted and approved, and palflip cannot undo that after the fact.

6. Age and capacity

You represent that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you have the legal right, authority, and capacity to grant the rights described in Section 2.

7. Relationship

You are an independent contractor to palflip, not an employee, for the purposes of this agreement.

8. Governing law

South Africa.
