Payments & Fees Policy

How money moves on palflip — funding, fees, earnings, and withdrawals. All amounts in ZAR, processed through Paystack. Palflip is not a bank and does not itself hold or lend money.

1. Payment provider

All money into and out of the Platform is processed by Paystack. By funding a Campaign or receiving a payout you also agree to Paystack's terms. Palflip does not store full card details. We do not accept or make manual EFT payments — card funding in, and Paystack transfers out, are the only supported methods.

2. Funding a Campaign (Brands)

A Campaign becomes Activeonly once funded in full through Paystack, up to its Max Payout plus palflip's fee. Funds are committed to paying approved Deliverables.

Palflip charges a Content Reward Fee of 10% on Campaign payouts. This fee is an add-on charged to your Campaign budget on top of each Creator payout — it is not taken off the top when you fund, and never deducted from the Creator. When a Creator earns a payout of R500, your budget is drawn down by R550 (the R500 payout plus the R50 fee). A budget funds Creator payouts of up to budget ÷ 1.10— for example, a R5,000 budget funds up to R4,545.45 in Creator payouts plus R454.55 in fees. Paystack's own processing costs may also apply to funding.

3. How Creators earn

Approved Deliverables earn at the Campaign's Rate (payment per 1,000 Verified Views), first-come-first-served, until the Max Payout is reached or the Campaign ends. Verified Views only — views palflip determines to be from bots, scripts, automated means, purchased engagement, or inducements are excluded and earn nothing.

Earnings accrue to your palflip balance as views are verified. Earnings are not a deposit, are not guaranteed, and may be withheld, reversed, or clawed back for fraud, view manipulation, policy breach, chargeback, or payment-provider reversal.

4. Withdrawals (Creators)

You may withdraw your available balance to your verified bank account through Paystack, subject to any minimum withdrawal amount palflip sets.

A Withdrawal Fee of 3% + R3 applies to each withdrawal, deducted from the amount withdrawn. Example: withdrawing R500 incurs a fee of R18.00 (R15.00 + R3.00), so R482.00 reaches your bank.

Withdrawals are made to the bank details on your profile. You are responsible for their accuracy; palflip is not liable for payments sent to details you provided incorrectly. Withdrawals may be delayed or held while we verify identity, investigate suspected fraud, or resolve a dispute or chargeback.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn, including declaring income to SARS. Palflip does not withhold or deduct tax and pays without deductions other than the fees in this Policy.

6. Refunds, chargebacks and reversals

Amounts already paid to Creators for approved, Verified-View work are generally non-refundable. Unspent Campaign funds may be handled as palflip designates when a Campaign is closed or removed. The full rules on what can and can't be refunded are in the Refund Policy.

Initiating a chargeback for legitimately delivered work is a breach of the Terms. We may suspend the account, recover the amount and any related costs, and withhold future payouts. If a payment provider reverses a transaction, we may reverse the related earnings or payout accordingly. 7. Suspended accounts

If an account is suspended for suspected fraud or serious breach, related payouts may be withheld while we investigate, and forfeited or used to cover chargebacks, refunds, or losses if the breach is confirmed.

8. Changes

Palflip may change fees and this Policy. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email and apply to Campaigns and withdrawals made after they take effect.
