Why you can check us, not just trust us.

Plenty of platforms have promised South African creators money and not paid it. Here's exactly how ours works, including the parts that are slower than we'd like.

How we verify views

Every count passes a person or the platform itself before it turns into money. Here is exactly what happens on each one.

  • YouTube — views update automatically. No action needed from you.
  • TikTok — views are verified within 2 business days.
  • Instagram — views are verified within 2 business days.

How identity verification works

Before your first payout we check that the bank account belongs to you. That means a South African ID or passport and the account details. It is a legal requirement for paying money out, not a judgement of you. Your documents are held under POPIA, used only for this check, and never shown to brands.

How payouts work

Money only moves in one direction and you decide when.

  • Verified views become earnings in your Palflip balance.
  • You choose when to withdraw. There is a R170 minimum.
  • Payouts go straight to a South African bank account in your name.
  • If the bank rejects the transfer, the full amount returns to your balance and no fee is charged.

When something goes wrong

Disagreements happen. These are the routes out of them.

  • A declined clip comes with the brand’s reason, and you can appeal it.
  • If your verified count comes in lower than expected, you see both numbers side by side and the reason.
  • You can message the brand from inside the campaign at any point.
