Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do, promote, or sell on palflip. Applies to all users, Campaigns, and Deliverables, and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Breaching it can lead to content removal, withheld or reversed payouts, suspension, termination, and referral to the authorities.
1. Prohibited conduct
You may not, and may not use palflip to:
- Break any South African or other applicable law, or facilitate anything unlawful.
- Manipulate views or engagement— bots, click-farms, automated scripts, purchased views, or inducements to inflate a Deliverable's numbers.
- Create fake or duplicate accounts, evade a ban, or impersonate any person or business.
- Submit duplicate, reused, stolen, or non-original Deliverables.
- Defraud, deceive, phish, or run scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or "get-rich-quick" offers; make false or unsubstantiated earnings or product claims.
- Harass, threaten, bully, dox, or incite harm against anyone; publish hate speech or content that discriminates based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, or sell counterfeit or pirated goods, streams, or accounts.
- Hack, probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Platform or its security, or access data without authorisation.
- Collect or share other people's personal information without a lawful basis and consent.
- Circumvent palflip's fees or move Campaign dealings off-platform.
2. Prohibited Campaigns, products and services
Campaigns and Deliverables may not promote, advertise, or sell:
- Illegal goods, services, or activity of any kind.
- Adult or sexually explicit content or services; any content that sexualises or endangers minors — strictly prohibited and reported to the authorities.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or instructions to make them.
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances; unapproved medicines, supplements, or health products making unlawful claims.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products to, or by, anyone under the legal age, or in breach of applicable advertising restrictions.
- Gambling or betting operations that are unlicensed or unlawful (general sports or entertainment commentary is allowed if not unlawful gambling promotion).
- Financial products or services offered without the required licence or registration, including unregistered investment, credit, or forex schemes, and crypto-asset offers that breach South African financial law.
- Counterfeit, replica, or IP-infringing goods; pirated media, IPTV, or account reselling.
- Fraudulent documents, identities, credentials, or hacking services.
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid recruitment.
- Anything that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders; extremist or terrorist content; or graphic violence intended to shock.
3. Restricted Campaigns (need prior approval)
Some categories may be allowed only with our prior written approval and proof of any required licence, including regulated financial content, health and wellness products, alcohol (age-gated and compliant), and political or advocacy content. Contact legal@palflip.com before running one.
4. Advertising standards
All Campaigns and Deliverables must comply with advertising law, including the Advertising Regulatory Board (ARB) code and the Consumer Protection Act, must be honest and not misleading, and must clearly disclose the paid relationship (e.g. #ad).
5. Reporting and enforcement
Report anything that breaches this policy through our report form or by emailing support@palflip.com. We review reports and may act under the Community Guidelines enforcement ladder. Submitting false or bad-faith reports may itself lead to account action.
